History:	Prohibition in 1920 closed the park's Beer Garden causing a drop in attendance. This was followed by a fire in 1922 which destroyed a great deal of the park. The park never reopened.
Location:	The 22 acre park existed on the land now occupied by the Des Plaines Avenue "el" station and the Eisenhower Expressway.
