NOTE - If anyone has sent me anything via e-mail over the last 24 hours, chances are I didn’t get it as we have been experiencing some e-mail problems, so please do resubmit any of all news items and press releases.
Note - If you had some slow loading problems with the site yesterday afternoon, apparently this was caused due to the fires out in Brea, CA that were quite close to where our server is located. From what I was told it took a few hours for the network out there to re-route the traffic due to damage in the area, but things should be back to normal by now. Meanwhile IAAPA starts today in Orlando, so if your at the show and come across a great news find, a cool new product photo or anything else newsworthy, please do send it in!
If you are reading this then I’d like to welcome you to PaperSound, the awesome new web host of Screamscape. If your in need of a new webhost who still has a personal touch and a real technical support staff to help you, then please do consider PaperSound for your needs. Since the whole site had to be uploaded to the new server, there are bound to be a few bad links or missing graphics, so if you see anything please let me know. Now on with the news updates!
Site News: 10:12am EST - 11/13/08 I've grown tired of waiting, so I've taken the matters into my own hands and have begun re-loading the site from scratch. I'll try to stick in a few news updates here and there as I do it to keep checking back, meanwhile the process of reloading all the pages may take several hours as well, so be patient. The content is still there... it’s just the graphics and photos that are missing right now.
Site News: 8:24am EST - 11/13/08 Unfortunately I am well aware of what is going on with the site right now, which as you can see... it looks as bare as a monkey’s rear end. All the graphics are not missing however, but rather all access to the folder that contain them has been cut off by my webhost (Globat.com sucks! Stay away... far far away!) to the point that even I don’t have the access to view or modify my own site’s image files. This same thing happened about 4-5 months ago as well, without warning, without explanation, or even an apology and it took quite a bit of time to get them to restore things back to normal, so please bare with me this morning while we try to get this problem fixed. - Lance
