| History: | Cascades d'eau de Piedmont was never able to get the needed permission from the city of Piedmont to rebuild the Thunder Eagle. An second attempt was made to built a new small amusement park at Mont-Blanc (owned by Mont St-Sauveur who also owns Cascades d'eau de Piedmont), but again permission was not granted for the project.
During the final days of the IAAPA 2006 trade show, Martin & Vleminckx announced at their booth that the Thunder Eagle was sold to Mundo Acuatico Anita in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico (just over the boarder from El Paso, Texas). Like in Canada, permit problems prevented the roller coaster from being built. |
