History:

Re-themed and renamed for the 1995 season.

Drayton Manor's website lists the name as "Klondike Old Mine" (No "G"). This appears to be an error. A sign on top of the lift hill reads "Klondike Gold Mine" and a ride operator confirms this.

According to a picture in the book "Drayton Manor: Memories of a Family Fun Park", the Klondike Gold Mine opened in 1985 as the Python. Anyone have a 1984 or 1985 park map/brochure that might help confirm this?
