| The Top Thrill Dragster was heavily modified by Zamperla and categorized as a Lightning model. The hydraulic launch was replaced by a LSM Launch (multi-pass) and the trains were replaced. A second tower was built to create the multi-pass launch increasing the track length to 3,422 feet from its original 2,800 feet. | |

| The trains on the Top Thrill Dragster changed a few times during the first season. Presumably to create a lighter train, the Top Thrill Dragster had four car trains when it opened. By mid season, the fifth cars were put into service making the trains five cars long as planned. The front car has always only seated two riders due to the nose shape, so there are 18 riders per train, not 20 as listed above. | |
