| Facts: | During the 2005/2006 off-season, portions of the track were replaced with parts taken from the Shuttle Loop kept in storage at Six Flags Marine World. This Six Flags Marine World Shuttle Loop originated at Marriot's Great America in San Jose, CA were it operated as the "Tidal Wave". The park was later bought by the Paramount corporation who removed the ride after the 2002 season. What makes for an interesting bit of trivia is this Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Shuttle Loop originated at Marriott's Great America in Gurnee, IL where it also operated as the "Tidal Wave". So these two "Tidal Wave" roller coasters from former Marriott's parks, have been reunited. |
