History: Edward H. Bollinger was a Swiss immigrant who built and operated a kiddie airplane ride and a 45-foot Ferris wheel in 1932 at the corner of Ninth Avenue Southwest and Fifth Street.  In 1935  Bollinger built the roller coaster using Douglas fir beams fashioned by the Brew Manufacturing Plant on Pioneer Avenue, a design by John A. Miller and trains by Frederick Church of Venice, CA.
  Edward H. Bollinger also owned Oaks Park in Portland, OR.
  Destroyed by fire in the 1940s.
  Redesigned by Walker LeRoy in 1950.
  Rebuilt in 1970.
Facts: The Coaster Thrill Ride's trains named: Ol' Yeller, Blaz'n Blue and Or'nry Orange.
