| 1988: | Change of ownership. The Joseph Entertainment Group purchase the park and build a 20,000 seat outdoor amphitheater and brought in several large acts. |
| 1990: | Musical group Milli Vanilli was performing "live" on stage when the music skipped during "Girl You Know It's True" and revealed they had been lip-syncing the show. |
