Sam Aquilina 9/9/08
A dear friend of many of the members of WNYCC passed away on 9/9/08 at the age of 71 from lung cancer. Salvatore (Sam) Aquilina was the general manager of the Comet at Crystal Beach. Anyone who ever attended a WNYCC CometCon or Spring Break In will have fond memories of Sam. Without Sam's support of the club and our events at the Comet, WNYCC would never have been the club it was during those first years of growth. Sam will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
