Site Closure

Barry Island Pleasure Park Online regrets to announce it has been forced to close. After putting in over four years of hard work and determination to publicise Barry Island Pleasure Park and run the website, it is now impractical for the site to be run. The main reasoning behind this decision is that from the amount of work needed with the ever changes at the park and recent lack of support from the park itself, it simply isn’t possible. Our main aim throughout the years, and with the new site, was to give an in-depth view of each ride and attraction, however, with the independent rides being brought in and out, this information is ever-changing, so therefore we cannot achieve this.

Over a years work has been put into the new-look site, BarryIslandPleasureParkOnline.co.uk, however, this again has now been forced to be cancelled. We deeply apologise to all that have applied as correspondents for us, as well as those to see the new features on the website, but as previously mentioned, this simply is not practical.

We are extremely pleased with what we have achieved over the past four years; including, publicising Wales’ Premier Pleasure Park, been recognised and involved in the Barry Island TV series, along with having over 6000 hits from as many different users every year!

We would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all that have contributed to the site over the years, including the Pleasure Park and wish to see it continue for many years to come.
